NBA Power Rankings: Week 23

Riding a franchise-record 18-game winning streak, the San Antonio Spurs remain ranked No. 1 in the NBA Sports Power Rankings, through games of March 31.

The Spurs routed the reeling Indiana Pacers Monday night, 103-77. The Eastern Conference-leading Pacers have lost six of their last eight games and have fallen five spots in this week’s NBA Power Rankings to No. 18.

The Brooklyn Nets will try to establish a franchise record for consecutive home wins Tuesday night when they face the No. 4 Houston Rockets. Brooklyn was the week’s biggest upward mover in the NBA Power Rankings, improving four spots to No. 10.

After San Antonio, Oklahoma City, the Los Angeles Clippers, Houston, and Miami round out the top five teams in the NBA Power Rankings. Memphis, Golden State, Chicago, Dallas, and the Nets complete the top ten.

Despite ending their NBA-record-tying 26 game losing streak, the Philadelphia 76ers remained mired in the No. 30 spot in the NBA Power Rankings. The Sixers blasted Detroit 123-98 Saturday night to avoid setting the record for longest losing streak in major American professional sports.
